PLEASE STOP STEALING!

Recently (today), I discovered that at least eight people (possibly more I don't know about) have been taking my art from this website and putting it on their Photobucket accounts, MySpace accounts, Facebook pages, etc., WITHOUT my permission!

Please, I cannot stress this enough - DO NOT PUT MY ART ON YOUR PAGES OR ANY TYPE OF ACCOUNT WITHOUT DIRECT PERMISSION FROM ME.

I work hard to create this art. It infuriated me to see it was being used without permission, and in one case, edited and scribbled upon! Please! Don't do things like this, to me or any other artist!

As a warning - if I discover that this continues, I WILL DELETE MY ENTIRE GALLERY.

I mean it. The entire thing, every drawing, every photo, every scrap. Just think about that, you art thieves, before you ruin it for people who genuinely just like to look and appreciate artwork.

Woah woah woah! If you delete your gallery, then no one can trace the art back to you as the creator because this will no be here to show them!

You can always try watermarking...

I had the same problem for a while too. People downloadin stuff, pain in the butts >,< I hope they dont keep doing this for long

Same problem here. They nab a ton of fan-mews and stick it on Photobucket. Although that doesn't bother me as much as flat out stealing and claiming credit xP;

There's no reason why anyone should do that, and there's no reason why you should put up with it. Why is it that some people think the word "permission" doesn't apply to internet business?

:iconcirlin: makes a very good point. If you do delete your account, nobody would be able to trace the picture back to you. :( You should try watermarking your pictures. :/

Well, these were older drawings, some of them, before DA offered watermarks. But I do use watermarks on everything new. I need to figure out how to disable "download" on every one of my pictures (oi.... ^^;) so they can't save them.

Because they're stupid? It makes me really angry that Photobucket doesn't have a way to twll the people to take it down. You know, like how some places say "Are you the owner of this picture? Report it".
